The client had a huge requirement for content development of unstructured Paper and PDF Catalog into structured database, which is consistent and also captures all relevant attributes of Machinery/Parts details captured in the Catalogs. To ramp up resources and train existing resource in Technical areas like Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics and adapt to client's process. |

The Solution : |
Quest Informatics started the project with a pilot to fine-tune process, create automated tools to improve productivity and establish required Quality Standards, create document Reports on various stages of Process to verify the milestone achievements, progress and Quality levels achieved at different Milestones. |
Scale up to the tune of 100 resources in 2 months Ramp-up plan, the challenges were to recruit right resources having technical knowledge in the domain concerned and also have exposure to multi domains and application software, train them to our requirement and improve productivity with required quality levels. |
We are successful in achieving volumes with required Quality Standards and processed to the satisfaction of the Client, who had their Audit process to control Quality checks, process verification etc. in place. |

- Two PDF's (Catalog Module and Manufacture Data Sheet) and
- Excel Spreadsheet containing the Part Number of that particular product

The received PDF inputs are by our Domain expertise. The required information for the product are taken from both the PDF and clubbed together. First a quark file is created (The quark file contains all the relevant information of the product which we have analyzed). This quark file will be then printed into PDF format with specification provided by client. There should not be any reference to Original Manufacturer like Name, Address, Phone, Fax Numbers, Website and Personal Contacts. We have to show only information relevant to the stocked item.
