The PRADHAN MANTRI GRAM SADAK YOJANA (PMGSY) Objective of this project is to connect unconnect roads of Rural India so that maximum population get the Essential facilities, This is Government of India Project under the scheme-Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. This Project is undertaken by Zilla Panchayath Engineering Divisions. In future these Maps created would be posted on web and the progress of the same would be verified by Central Government.

We were involved in Digitization of Road Maps of 1/3rd (54 Taluks/Blocks) of State of Karnataka

Our Role was :

• To Collect Data & Digitize Roads availability, Road conditions,Village population, Hospitals, Schools, Colleges and other facilities of each village.
  
• To Create Raster Image of Topo/Map of each Taluk, Plot the Different types of roads, Habitations using AutoCAD with Overlay.
  
• Collect Data in prescribed formats, Digitize and verify data against Map markings.
  
• Calculate Utility value of the proposed Upgradation/New Roads and prepare List of Roads proposed in this scheme.
  
• Currently we have successfully executed two schemes under PMGSY: District Rural Road Plan and CoreNetwork.
  
• In this project we had to upgrade ourselves in AutoCAD MAP skills and provide solutions, we were successful in executing 28 Taluks/Blocks within 25 days.
